Résumé:	This article deals with a study of citizens’ behavior towards environmental problems in Algeria by a field study in the municipality of Ghajati. It aims in brief to identify the main concepts of citizen-behavior, environmental problems and analyze this phenomenon practically; The study has reached a set of important results, including: The attention to environmental problems to citizens is weak, as well as the level of awareness of the serious effects of these environmental problems in full areas of life. The study also concluded that the citizens are not aware of sound legal and legal tools to claim their rights from environmental problems.
